Our weekend started on Friday night when we went to a braai at The Quail's house to celebrate
Uncle Bryan's 65th birthday.
Jenny was up from Cape Town, Janene and Martyn were there and Marty and Mike joined us too.
Then saturday was "Wedding Day". We made our way to Creaky Tree in Bedfordview where we met up with Leslie, Dennis and Sean who had arrived that morning.
Hermann met us at the path to the venue
We made our way to the bottom of the garden to where the chapel was set up
Their colour scheme was a beautiful red and the flowers were a mixture of roses and gerberas.
They also had a pretty little gazebo at the top of the chapel

Debbie arriving with Uncle Bryan
Exchanging vows
and rings
Pronounced Mr and Mrs Peters.
After confetti throwing and congratulations
we then went to watch them cut their cake - a delicious chocolate one with fruitcake cupcakes
While everyone was enjoying their cake it was time for the photos.
All the cousins - Alan, Lyn, Maryann, Hermann, Debbie, Jenny, Leslie and Gavin

We were then served our starters while Gavin welcomed everyone
Hermann then toasted his bride and then dinner was served
then it was time for the first dance

While Debbie and Hermann were dancing, the cousins "decorated" their car
We all sent them off
complete with balloons and tin cans.
On sunday, everyone gathered back at the Quail house for brunch
before it was time to take the Cape Town family to the airport to return home.
It was a lovely weekend for all.
